  2. It looks like your blog ended in 2022, so my hope is that it’s because you have realized that you’re more than just the color of your skin, a singular culture, or that your value in more than a handful of political opinions. We’ve all been down a similar path, but also know that that path, especially, does not lead to happiness, contentment, healthy relationships, or fulfilling life in the long run. It’s only when we see people around for more than their immutable appearances or their politics, that we turn to more important metrics like kindness, compassion, honesty, and virtue. We are so much more than the sum of our pain, but it’s a path we have to choose.

    1. Hi, respectfully my blog didn’t end.

My entire life and existence is actually based in the color of my skin, my ethnicity and my political opinions.

I actually still harshly judge people by their political opinions and morals and will continue to even if it isn’t documented on my blog. In the last 2 years I went through various losses and infertility issues that made it nearly impossible to find a moment to sit down and write.

But make no mistake it was not because I had some grand realization that my view on life was too narrow. If anything these last two years has shown me how important it is to keep my skin color, my ethnicity, and my experiences at the forefront.

Thanks for reminding me, actuality. New post coming soon 😉

    2. Hi, my blog didn’t “end.” I pay to renew this site every year so people like you can continue to read my content.

My experiences are still colored by my skin color, my ethnicity and my culture. And if anything these last two years has shown me how much so and how important it is to keep it in the forefront.

So no, I didn’t have a grand realization that my view on life was too narrow. Instead I just cut out those toxic people and their ignorance. Additionally I’ve lived a life that made it nearly impossible to sit and write. But seeming as this just took me 2 seconds to do, new content is coming soon. 😉

Thanks for the prompting that people still need a strong reminder that we actually are our skin color and ethnicities in all experiences, for better or worse.
